Vidcast RSS/XML Coding
Spiders and crawlers from Google, Yahoo, MSN and all of the other big names out there are great at crawling through web sites, finding text content, creating indexes, and then displaying results to potential website visitors. But what about audio and video content? Spiders cannot see what's inside a streaming video file or podcast, so we've got to help them out a little. This is where we do some coding and add all of the appropriate keywords and search terms that describe the vidcast. We may need your help but at this point we'll probably understand so much about the project that we'll know exactly what to do. With this, visitors within your web site can, for example, search and see that there are new training vidcasts available for specific products, right along with the other search results. And we'll also encourage spiders from the big search engines to visit again, and within a short period of time these vidcasts will also be showing up in searches at Google, Yahoo, and anywhere in the world with an Internet connection.
